## FAQ

**What are the check-in and check-out times?** Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request. Please contact us in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate.

**Is there a minimum stay requirement?** Coral Resort has a 3-night minimum rental requirement. Some suites offer weekly or monthly discounts. Ask us about longer-stay pricing.

**What is included in the suite?** Every suite is fully equipped with a full kitchen (refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, dishes), linens and towels (including beach towels), Wi-Fi, smart TV with streaming, and air conditioning. Each suite has its own private entrance and is individually owned and uniquely furnished. Please note we do not offer cable TV in any suite.

**Are starter supplies provided?** Yes, every suite is stocked with starter supplies to get you through the first day or two: two rolls of toilet paper, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a bar of soap. Supplies are not restocked during your stay, so plan to pick up additional essentials at any of the nearby shops and markets on Clearwater Beach.

**Are beach towels and chairs provided?** Beach towels are provided in every suite. A limited number of community beach chairs are available by the pool area on a first-come, first-served basis and can be brought to the beach. Please return them after use so the next guests can enjoy them. Some suites are additionally equipped with their own beach chairs, but this is not guaranteed. Sun loungers by the pool and out on the back lawn are also available for guest use.

**Is there a pool?** Yes! Coral Resort features a heated pool set in a gated courtyard, available to all registered guests. Enjoy a swim year-round.

**Do any suites have a washer and dryer?** Select suites include an in-suite washer and dryer. There is no community laundry room on the property. If your suite doesn't have laundry, there are laundromats and dry cleaners a short drive away. Check each suite's details on our Suites page for specifics.

**Is the resort directly on the beach?** Not directly on the sand. Coral Resort sits right on the Intracoastal near the marina, about a 5-minute walk to Clearwater Beach's three miles of sugar-white sand and the Gulf of Mexico.

**Is the property accessible?** Coral Resort is a small property with a total of 7 suites spread across several buildings. Some suites are reachable at ground level; others are accessed by stairs only, as there is no elevator. Please note that no suites are certified as accessible. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us before booking so we can help find the best fit.

**Is smoking allowed?** No. Coral Resort has a strict no-smoking policy. This applies to all suites and all outdoor areas of the property. This includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and vaping devices. Violations may result in additional cleaning fees.

**Are pets allowed?** We're sorry, but pets are not allowed at Coral Resort. This is a property-wide policy with no exceptions, other than trained service animals as required by law. Emotional support animals do not qualify.

**Are there quiet hours?** Yes, quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. We ask all guests to be respectful of their neighbours. The pool area closes at the times posted on-site.

**What is the cancellation policy?** Cancellation policies vary by booking. Generally, cancellations made 30+ days before arrival receive a full refund minus a processing fee. Cancellations within 30 days may forfeit a portion or all of the rental amount. We strongly recommend travel insurance, which is offered at checkout.

**Is travel insurance available?** Yes, optional travel insurance is offered during the booking process. It covers trip cancellations, interruptions, and other unforeseen circumstances. We highly recommend it for peace of mind.

**Are there discounts for longer stays?** Yes! Many suites offer weekly and monthly discounts. Contact us directly at (727) 449-2700 for custom quotes on extended stays. Rates vary by suite and season.

**What is included in the rental price?** Your rental rate includes the suite, all utilities, WiFi, access to the heated pool, free parking, and beach access. Linens and towels are provided. Cleaning fees and applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

**When is payment due?** Typically, an initial deposit (50%) is due at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days before arrival. Full payment is required for bookings made within 30 days of arrival.

**Is there an age requirement for booking?** The primary guest on the reservation must be at least 25 years of age and present during the stay. Valid government-issued photo ID is required.

**How far is the nearest airport?** Tampa International Airport (TPA) is approximately 30 to 35 minutes away and is the most convenient option. St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) is about 20 to 25 minutes away and serves budget carriers. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is roughly 1.5 hours away for international flights.

**Do I need a rental car?** A car is not essential for a beach getaway. Coral Resort is a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and shops, and the Jolley Trolley stops nearby, connecting you to Clearwater, Dunedin, and Tarpon Springs for under $5 a day with unlimited rides. A car is helpful for day trips to Tampa, theme parks, or exploring further afield.

**Are there rideshare options?** Yes! Uber and Lyft both operate throughout the Clearwater Beach and Tampa Bay area. They're a great option for airport transfers and getting around without a car.

**Is parking available?** Yes, free parking is included with every suite, one pass per suite. There are 7 on-site spaces in the Coral Resort lot and 5 off-site parking passes for a nearby lot. Your parking pass is assigned at random by the housekeeping company, so you may receive either an on-site or off-site pass. You'll find out which one you have when you receive your check-in instructions.

**Are there any parking rules I should know about?** Important: The parking lot is monitored 24/7 by a third-party towing company. You must follow the parking instructions sent to you before arrival. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed. Neither the Coral Resort Association, suite owners, nor our management company are responsible for towing fees or vehicle damages.

**When will I receive parking instructions?** Detailed parking instructions are sent via email 3 days before arrival. A separate text message with the Coral Resort Guidebook, which also includes parking info, is sent on your check-in day.

**Can I park an oversized vehicle, trailer, or boat?** Unfortunately no. Oversized vehicles, trailers, and boats cannot be accommodated in either the on-site or off-site lot. Please reach out before booking if you have special vehicle needs.

**How far is the beach?** The Gulf beach is about a 5-minute walk away. Coral Resort sits right on the Intracoastal near the Clearwater Beach marina and roundabout, and the award-winning sugar-white sand is a short stroll from your front door.

**What restaurants are nearby?** You're surrounded by great dining. Clearwater Beach classics like Frenchy's Rockaway Grill, Clear Sky Cafe, Sekushi Japanese, and Bob Heilman's Beachcomber are all a short walk or drive away. For more options, check our Area Guide.

**What is there to do nearby?** Plenty! Pier 60 hosts nightly sunset celebrations with performers and artisans. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium (home of Winter the dolphin) is just a mile away. **Is the Jolley Trolley convenient?** Very! The Jolley Trolley stops nearby and covers all of Clearwater Beach, downtown Clearwater, and extends north to Dunedin and Tarpon Springs. An unlimited day pass is under $5.

**Are theme parks accessible from Clearwater Beach?** Yes! Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is about 35 minutes away. Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld in Orlando are approximately 1.5 hours by car, perfect for day trips.
